WK shop

Stop by Woodberry Kitchen weekdays from 11:00am-3:00pm to get some shopping done and support small businesses! Shoppers get free cider and holiday cookies, too. Tons of great products…

Love Ablaze Candles ($13)
The candles are made by Olivia Caltado right around the corner in Woodberry using beeswax from Carne’s Bee Farm in Lancaster, mixed with tallow (beef fat) from Parts & Labor, WK’s butcher shop in Remington. The fragrance oils used have been filtered so most of the synthetic properties that typically cause asthma or allergies have been reduced, and then they’re blended with essential oils.

Copper Mug ($30/single)
Copper Mug gift set ($55)
These copper mugs are the perfect vessel for the cocktail that has got to be served crisp and cold! They are made in the US and come in a single mug or a really lovely gift of two mugs with recipes for some of WK’s favorite drinks to make in them: the Gov’t Mule, a Woodberry classic, and the Headless Horseman, new this fall to the WK cocktail list, both easy to make at home an extremely tasty.

Regular & Decaf Coffee ($12)
This year Woodberry Kitchen offers bags of whole beans from Counter Culture. Counter Culture is located in Durham, NC, where the coffee is roasted and sourced from farms with whom the staff maintains relationships very similar to the direct and transparent relationships Woodberry maintains with its growers. Counter Culture roasts many single-origin coffees that showcase the region and even the cooperative or the farmer growing them. The beans are incredibly fresh and will be rotated through the gift shop to ensure they are that way.

Papercut T-shirt ($21)
Yes We Canned T-shirt ($16)
WK t-shirts are printed by Common Seed Press in Baltimore City. The design for the papercut t-shirt is by local artist Annie Howe, also known as Baltimore Papercuts. This shirt is available in women’s (gray) sizes as well as men’s (blue, green, brown) sizes. Yes We Canned come is women’s (blue, pink) and men’s (gray) sizes as well.

Woodberry Pantry Jams ($8)
Woodberry Pantry products are made by the canning team at Shoo-fly, WK’s sister restaurant in Belvedere Square. The preservers strive to can and jar produce from the farms they work with in Pennsylvania and Maryland. The produce is canned at the peak of its ripeness and, of course, when it is as fresh as it comes, which means with the most flavor and nutritional value as possible. Opening a jar of Woodberry Pantry preserves brings back the flavor of a summer day in the middle of winter.

Cornmeal Mix ($10)
The cornmeal and cornflour in this mix come from Beiler’s Heritage Acres in Lancaster County, PA. The farmer, Omar Beiler, grows and mills the open-pollinated (non-GMO) corn himself on the farm. Also in the mix are organic sugar, salt, baking soda, and baking powder, all gluten-free! Just add eggs, buttermilk and butter to make an 8×8-inch pan of cornbread. Delicious! Instructions included.

Pancake Mix ($10)
This pancake mix has both flour that comes from Heartland Mill and buckwheat from Next Step Organics in Newburg, MD. Heinz, one of WK’s most amazing farmers, grows and processes the buckwheat all himself on his farm. Also in the mix are organic sugar, baking powder, and salt. Just add eggs, butter, and buttermilk. Instructions included.

Peanut Brittle ($6)
WK’s peanut brittle is made from raw peanuts grown in Virginia, and finished with salt from West Virginia, where a woman has revived her family’s practice of harvesting and dehydrating salt in greenhouses in the Appalachian mountains. Other ingredients are sugar, water, and butter.

Parts & Labor Growler with First Fill Free ($16)
This 32oz growlette is printed with the P&L logo, and is the little sister to the 64oz growler also available at the butcher shop. The growler includes a tag that allows a free fill from any of the 20 beers from the Mid-Atlantic and the Northeast available on draft at P&L.
