Local Vendors on Display at Union Graze Happy Hour
Each week local vendors — some just starting out, others are more experienced — gather in the courtyard behind Union Mill. Last year, it was held every Friday and had a farmers market/CSA component. This year, it’s mainly local food and beverage producers selling their wares. You can also enjoy adult beverages. The event runs from 5:00-8:00pm (thus, the happy hour aspect.)
This week’s musical entertainment will be provided by Brad Kolodner and Luke Chohany playing, Appalachian Old-Time music.
Union Graze features local vendors of fine foods and goods including vegan chocolates, granola, organic body care products, fermented products and much more. A new featured vendor is Relay Foods – the local online grocery shopping site. Attendees can sign up for service or just learn more about it. I’ve personally used Relay Foods and it was fabulous. Locally sourced groceries delivered to my door. Awesome. Baltimore Magazine spoke with Union Graze organizer, Hannah Ragan who said, “What makes Union Graze particularly special is that it offers a unique opportunity for small start-up businesses or entrepreneurs to experiment selling their wares; sometimes for their first time ever. We have been networking around the city and scouting out potential vendors who are working on interesting projects and that are both passionate and creative in their approach to their work.” See you at Union Graze on Friday, July 25th – and every other Friday until October 3.
